Hallstatt, Austria

There’s a song I grew up listening to called “So Will I.” It speaks of the wonders of all creation fully surrendering to its creator by obeying His commands. I couldn’t help but be reminded of this song as I entered Hallstatt. The mountains tower over the sea of water, the wind is pulled through the valley by the words of the Lord, and the clouds flood in to cover what’s below. His sovereignty was reflected in every single element.

I had never seen His creation in such magnitude. The work of God completely overshadows the city. The birds soared, singing songs of praise. “All nature and science follow the sound of His voice.” Looking back at the photos from this breathtaking landscape, I see God’s heart in a billion different ways, echoing His praises. What a beautiful sight.
